The doctors were giving me weekly vitamin injections but nothing seemed to help. I was told by numerous medical professionals that I had done irreparable damage to my hormonal and reproductive system and that I would never be able to conceive or carry a child.

I continued to get weaker as my desire for food diminished even more. And to make matters worse, during this time I was also the victim of a business scam that left me broke and without a source of income. I was sick and penniless.
